Each month's gathering features a new theme with a different hostess. Our hostess for May 2013 will be Hideko Kudaka-Crane.

Japanese Summer Songs

Ritsu Yamaguchi will sing some selected Japanese Summer songs including semi-classical and also a child's hand playing song. She also has a selection that will be sung either in English or Italian.
Rumiko Hidaka is a koto (Japanese instrument) player. After her performance she will give us a special opportunity to see and touch the instrument.
Aiko Gotoh, a member of TUC, introduces the ladies along with Tomomi Kumagai announcements to the group.
Also for this program, Reiko Takahashi, will bring yukata (Summer kimono) so that we will enjoy Japanese Summer taste and have a fun experience.
