The Road to Hell is Paved with Good Intentions

Pastor Hector spoke from Mark 8:27-38 and brought to our attention that in verses 32 and 33, with good intentions, Peter rebuked Jesus because he didn’t want Him to go through crucifixion. However, Jesus then asked Peter to get behind Him. Pastor Hector emphasized that Jesus didn’t ask Peter to leave. He just redirected him, so that he could follow from behind. “We also need to get behind Jesus and take up our cross and follow Him and we can rely on Him to redirect us when we make a mistake.”
