Richard Gardner, Emeritus Professor of Religious Studies at Sophia University, is leading a course on reading and praying the psalms via Zoom. The format of the course is based on a modified form of Lectio Divina. This is not a “lecture course” and the aim is to provide participants ample time to share their questions and reflections. The course will be offered in two sections (i.e., choose one or the other): Monday at 7:00 PM or Friday at 10:00 AM and will run for about 45 minutes with the option for staying linked together a bit longer for further discussion and reflection. Enrolment for each section is limited to eight.

Lectio Divina
A time to spend listening to the Bible – slowly, quietly, attentively. Meet each Thursday morning at 8 am to listen for God’s word to you for the day. All comers are welcome. You may come and spend the whole time in silence, but there will be moments when any who wish can share what they are hearing.

Wednesday Night Bible Study: Spiritual Warfare
We will read Pastor David Jeremiah’s sermon series on Spiritual Warfare as we explore the passages from Ephesians 6. Discover the nature of spiritual warfare and how to equip yourself with the whole armor of God to stand firm in grace. For more information, contact: Lorene Clemens.tuc.friends.biblestudy@gmail.com

Sermon Lab
A weekly Bible study that meets every evening at 6:30 PM on Tuesdays. We dig deeper into the bible verses that will be preached on Sunday with the preacher. You are welcome to ask questions, listen to other perspectives, and grow deeper in your faith and understanding of our Holy text.
Join via Zoom.
