How have you seen God at work in your ministry over the year?

Young Adult Groups

Throughout 2021, we were able to stay in touch through studies and hangouts online. It has been a real blessing to stay connected even when we were not able to gather. Toward the latter half of the year, as the TUC building re-opened for Sunday services, there were many new visitors who were interested in joining YAG. We were able to restart our weekly lunches along with opportunities to gather for events like our Thanksgiving Dinner and Christmas Movie Party. More importantly, we were able to support and pray for each other even more as the group grew and grew closer to each other. God has truly blessed this community of the young adults through a challenging year, setting us up for even greater growth in loving each other and loving God in 2022.


Youth and Children

Even in another year of canceled and redirected plans, God's presence, though often difficult to spot, is evident in this church community. I see God at work in the Zoom squares during online Sunday school, where a regular cohort of kiddos gather to talk, play games, and hear a message of God's love for them. I see God at work in the eyes of our kids, faces covered by masks, as we talk about their questions during Good News for Kids. I see God at work in our volunteers, who show up consistently for the young people of this church. I see God at work in our youth, whose thoughtful questions and joyful presence give us hope for the future. God is at work in every gathering of a few, every message of love, every opportunity we take to care for each other. In the words of one of my favorite Taizé songs, "Where charity and love are found, God is there." We thank God for another year of God's presence and love in the Youth and Children's Ministry.
