Lectio Divina Group

A time to spend listening to the Bible – slowly, quietly, attentively. Each Thursday morning at 8 am gather with us to listen for God’s word to you for the day. All comers are welcome. You may come and spend the whole time in silence, but there will be moments when any who wish can share what they are hearing.

Reading and Praying the Psalms.jpg

Praying & Reading the Psalms

Richard Gardner, Emeritus Professor of Religious Studies at Sophia University, is leading a course on reading and praying the psalms via Zoom. The format of the course is based on a modified form of Lectio Divina. This is not a “lecture course” and the aim is to provide participants ample time to share their questions and reflections. The course will be offered in two sections (i.e., choose one or the other): Monday at 7:00 PM or Friday at 10:00 AM and will run for about 45 minutes with the option for staying linked together a bit longer for further discussion and reflection. Enrolment for each section is limited to eight.

You are invited and welcomed to eat your lunch and join the study during your break.

Men’s Breakfast
