In Person in the Sanctuary, Sunday at 11 am
Our Life Together: Both In Person & Online
This Sunday, Oct. 31, we return to the Sanctuary In Person for the 11:00 am service! Last Sunday we resumed singing in the sanctuary at 8:30 am. Small gatherings are resuming and people are meeting at church. It is an exciting time for us to be free to use our church building again. Come and see us in the house! It will be so good to see you again face to face.
We are also still online, doing the things we have learned to do in this long season of adaptation. Worship will still be Livestreamed also at 11:00 on Sunday. Groups that went online during the building closure will still meet online. We have grown into “Both–And” mode, not “Either–Or.” Bible studies, prayer groups, sermon lab, and more will continue online even while we now regather at Omotesando.
One new online innovation is the opportunity for Pastoral visits online through the “Meet with the Pastor” function on the website. I love these wonderful times of sharing and fellowship and prayer through these online Zoom visits. They are such a blessing. I’ve never done this online like this before. Please try it with me. Here’s how you can easily meet with me online:
Go to TUC Home Page (www.tokyounion.org).
Scroll down to Book an appointment”
Select “Meet with Pastor Steve”
Click the day and time you would like to meet, then click “Continue”
Enter your name & email and click “Complete Appointment”
That’s it! You will receive a confirmation email and a Zoom link. It’s as simple as that.
These days we connect BOTH In Person and Online. I’m grateful for the online option, but I am eager to see you in person soon.
Warmly in Christ,
Pastor Steve
