Arne Käfer - Winter Intern

Arne is a German theology student who does a interreligious and -cultural study research in Japan. Therefore, he studied from september to the start of december Japanese religions, culture, and history in Kyoto. In the second step, he wanted to attend an internship in a church in Tokyo and applied at TUC.

As a teenager, Arne was encouraged greatly into the church’s work for children and teens. After school, he did a volunteer year and was responsible for the lonely. During his study in Berlin, he took a semester off to work in a housing project for the homeless and in a toddler group at the same time. He likes riding motorbikes, singing and playing guitar, being in nature and get in touch with people to hear their stories. In March, Arne will return to Germany to proceed his study and become a pastor at the German church.
