Larissa Soares - Our New Children’s Director

I am very honoured to be the Children's Director here at TUC! I believe when we give children what they need: love, safety, education, food, health care, and attention, they grow into great adults that will care for the next generations too. When we take care of children, we care for the Earth's future––God's creations’ future. Serving God means doing some work, but a different kind of work, a work we do with our heart, striving every day for a better world.

I'm from Brazil, Rio de Janeiro, but I have lived in Tokyo since 2019. I was a Sergeant Air Traffic Controller for the Brazilian Air Force and I also self-published a children's book. I will use all my abilities to promote a safe and fun place for children where they can learn about God, make friends, and feel at home when they are here at the church.
