Given the stress of Covid and other issues, we could benefit from learning simple counseling skills.  We will have this training opportunity on September 3rd and September 10th.  I hope you can mark your calendars and attend! 

 Dr. Joe Ozawa, a Christian clinical psychologist, will teach is the basics of Spirit-led counseling and how to help friends in need.  We can use these practical skills at church and in our wider community. 

Unlike most other counseling approaches, CFA is designed for everyone at any time and place.

Dr. Joe has and is still training people from many countries. He trained people at Asian Rural Institute and used CFA during the triple catastrophe in Japan and the Middle East and Hong Kong crises. Currently, CFA is also being used with Afghan and Ukrainian refugees.

The core of CFA is "Presence" of the Holy Spirit through us and as a "caring friend" ("You are not alone").
